One of the most outstanding Super Bowl 2011 ads is the Volkswagen all new 2012 Passat commercial. A little kid dressed as Darth Vader, the chief antagonist in the Star Wars saga, remind us our childhood fantasies.
The Volkswagen commercial does not feature Darth Vader fighting using a light saber but just a simple and real-life situation happening on every kids. The kid tries to imitate Darth Vader’s telekinetic power. With his hands wide open, he tries to move the doll, the rug, and even the dog but nothing seems to work. When his father arrived, he went out to try again his telekinetic power. His father tried to embrace him but the kid is far more interested in his father’s Volkswagen car. His father went inside and while he and his wife are watching their kid doing the telekinesis, he push the Volkswagen car’s remote button. The Volkswagen car’s lights light up and the kid is surprise and felt that he started the car using his mind.
