Utah Utes vs Brigham Young Cougars is scheduled this afternoon at 5:00 PM ET at the LaVell Edwards Stadium , Provo.
After 6 straight wins, Utah finally fell into the hands TCU Horned Frogs last November 14 at the Amon Carter Stadium Forth Worth, Texas. they scored for seven points in all four quarters of that game. TCU started to moved away from Utah after the three touchdowns in a 2 minute span in the second quarter. Utah immediately recovered last week after defeating San Diego State, 7-38 at the Rice-Eccles Stadium, even though defensive linemen Derrick Shelby (knee) and Kenape Eliapo (tackle) were not present.
Brigham Young Cougars (BYU) defeated Air Force Falcons 38-21 on Saturday. Falcons weren’t able to score in the first and third quarter of the game. Starting quarterback for the BYU Cougars Max Hall had an impressive performance after having five touchdowns. Controversy arised after coach Barry Lamb and BYU defensive end Jan Jorgensen made bad comments about the Falcons. Mountain West Conference (MWC) rebuked both of them and said that they violated the league’s sportsmanship rules.
