Tiger Woods Seriously Injured In A Car Accident

Tiger-Woods-Car-CrashAmerican professional golfer Tiger Woods is in the middle of a two-week break when he was rushed today at the Health Central Hospital, located at West Colonial Drive Ocoee, Florida in serious condition after a single vehicle car accident at 2:25 in the morning. He pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community backed over a fire hydrant, and then hit his neighbor’s tree. The patrol officers did not comment as to whether Woods will face charges or not.

There are some rumors that Woods is drunk so that’s why he’s out of control. FOX News reported today that these rumors are not true and according to Florida Highway Patrol alcohol is not the reason behind this accident. They said that the airbags in Woods’ 2009 black Cadillac Escalade did not expand, and it is therefore traveling under 33 mph. According to official reports from Orlando Sentinel, he received facial lacerations but he had been released today from the hospital. After it was reported that he was released this afternoon, it clarified the issue that he was not that seriously injured.

“Basically it was facial lacerations, and as I’m understanding it, nothing that serious.”

Gary Bruhn, Mayor of the Town of Windermere

Well-known PGA agent and LPGA agent, Mark Steinberg confirmed Mayor Bruhn’s statement that Wood was released today in good condition.

Although Mayor Bruhn and Steinberg said that Woods is in good condition, there are no interviews, photos, or videos as of now that will show and prove to the public and his fans that he is really fine. There are no further statement as well if this incident may result to a postponement of his next tournament in 2009 Chevron World Challenge on December 3 to December 6 to be held at Thousand Oaks in California.
