SWITZERLAND VS BELARUS LIVE UPDATES:
It’s currently a very tight game between Switzerland and Belarus’ Olympic Men’s Hockey Team. As of 3:14 in the third period, both teams are tied, 2-2.
Belarusian hockey forward Aleksei Kalyuzhny who currently plays for HC Dynamo Moscow, scored first in this game. Kalyuzhny was also the one who led his team on Sunday, Feb. 21, beating winless Germany 5-3. Also in the first period, Switzerland’s Julien Sprunger, who is currently under contract with Freiburg Gotteron, scored for his team to tie the score, 1-1.
Hnat Domenichelli’s power play goal gave Switzerland a brief lead roughly at 7:07 in the second period. Belarus striker Konstantin Zakharov scored at 15:42 in the second period. Zakharov’s power play goal tied the score at 2-2.
Romano Lemm scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Switzerland to a 3-2 victory over Belarus. Lemm was also the one who scored for the game-winning goal on their game against Norway on Feb. 20.
