The last hockey game for today, February 21, is the match between Finland and Sweden. After United States smashed Canada in Group A (USA vs Canada – Game 17), two teams of Group C which are tied in the first place, Sweden and Finland, will face each other at 9:00 p.m. PST at the Canada Hockey Place. The winning team will remained at the top and the losing team will be pulled down to the second place.
Loui Eriksson, who plays for Dallas Stars, gave Sweden their first goal in the game at 6:41 in the first period. Lars Nicklas Backstrom, who plays for Washington Capitals, gave another goal for Sweden, 2-0, at 4:19 in the first period.
Eriksson was not contented with his first goal and made another powerplay goal at 18:08 in the second period.
Finland is currently scoreless and still looking for a good shot here in the second period.
