The third most accurate kicker in the NFL history, Matt Stover, kicked a 38-yard field goal at 7:34 in the game gave Indianapolis Colts 3 points. It was followed by a touchdown by Pierre Garcon 19-yard pass from Peyton Manning which gave Colts a ten point lead.
The first quarter has ended and it was a splendid job for Colts leaving Saints scoreless.
At the start of the second quarter, Garrett Hartley kicked a 46-yard field goal at 9:40 in the game giving Saints their first three points in the game. Hartley made another field goal, now 10-6.
