Rookie point guard Rodrigue Beaubois is a scoring machine for Dallas Mavericks! The 22 year old from Guadeloupe, France scored a career-high 40 points Saturday to help the Mavericks beat Golden State Warriors, 111-90 for the final score. He is so amazing that he doesn’t deserve to sit on the bench and let the veterans do the job on the floor.
Beaubois made 9 of 11 from 3-pointers in 30 minutes and 15 of 22 shots from the floor against the Golden State Warriors. That’s considered as a brilliant performance for a rookie player. ESPN interviewed Beaubois and he said that what he really felt is that he couldn’t miss.
Mavericks’ forward Dirk Nowitzki said that Beaubois is really an explosive player. They really knew that Beaubois will be a big help for the team for Beaubois showed great skills on the floor even during practice session.
Beaubois was drafted 25th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder and he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks for B. J. Mullens, the 24th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
