The 2010 Pro Bowl is not that star-studded compare to last year’s event. As what the other sports analysts say, this year is a semi-Pro Bowl – All-Stars with not so many stars. There are many changes in the lineups and there are so many stars missing. AFC and NFC team were plagued with injuries. Though some will still be playing tonight like Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and Saints quarterback Drew Brees, about 40% of best players in the NFL were out including Vikings qaurterback Brett Favre, New England quarterback Tom Brady, Vikings wide receiver Sidney Rice, and many more
Yes we can see Peyton Manning tonight but he will not be playing the entire game. Manning together with his team mates Antoine Bethea, Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Jeff Saturday, and Reggie Wayne were excused because their team (Colts) reached Super Bowl XLIV so they’ll leave Pro Bowl at halftime.
According to recent reports, Miami Dolphins safety Yeremiah Bell was for more excited than any other players in the Pro Bowl. He cannot take away his joy and he was really proud that he was one of the players selected to play tonight. Bell was added to the AFC roster due to the number of injuries in the team.
Though some may lose their interest in watching this year’s Pro Bowl, it is guaranteed that they’ll surely wouldn’t miss the Super Bowl this coming Sunday.
