PHOTO: This is Diego Sanchez’ face after his title match against BJ Penn in the main event of UFC 107. The Prodigy proved that he is still the best and most dominating champion on his division. Diego Sanchez tried his best against BJ Penn but it just not enough to win the lightweight title.
The cut on Diego’s head was caused by Penn’s right head kick in the fifth round. Diego Sanchez was rocked and kept to hang on but when the referee noticed that big cut on Diego’s face the fight was quickly stop.
BJ Penn retained his title and Dana White confirmed that Diego Sanchez is in good condition but he will have lots of stitches first.
