This is the cry of Andrea Hall whose daughter, Ashleigh Hall, was slained by Peter Chapman. Ashleigh Hall met the killer, Peter Chapman on the famous social networking site Facebook. According to reports, Ashleigh thought that she was speaking to a 16-year old boy and she didn’t knew that the killer is 32 years old homeless drifter and a registered sex offender. Ashleigh was last seen on Sunday at 7PM when she left their home in Darlington, County Dunham. She told her mother that she was staying overnight with a friend but her college friends said that she is secretly had a date with a 16-year old boy she met on Facebook.
Andrea was shocked when her daughter was found dead on Monday night. Her body was dumped in a ditch near the A689 in Sedgefield, County Durham. She said that Ashleigh wants to be a nurse someday and she can’t really believe that she’s now holding the cold body of her daughter. She said that they’ve learned a terrible lesson and she wanted all parents out there to guide there children in using the internet. She wanted other parents to realize the harm that internet can bring to children once they were not guided and monitored by their parents.
It was found out that Peter Chapman has a facebook account and it features a bunch of pictures of himself. He have over 100 friends and all are women. He appeared in the court yesterday and he’s facing three offences: kidnapping, murder, and violation of Sexual Offences Act of 2003 and that is failure to inform police of a change of address.
