The WBO World welterweight champion and Ring Magazine’s number 1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Manny Pacquiao is going to face the former IBF Welterweight Champion Joshua Clottey from Ghana. Pacquiao vs Clottey live match will take place at the $1.3 billion Cowboys Stadium located at 900 E Randol Mill Road in Arlington, Texas. Pacquiao vs Clottey live match will start at 22:00 EST. Pacquiao, who is the first boxer in history to win seven world titles in seven different weight divisions, doesn’t have to worried about his weight. He had a full breakfast before the weigh-in yesterday and smiled at the 2,500 crowd after it was announced that he weighed 145 3/4 lbs while Clottey registered the exact limit of 147 lbs.
Pacquiao, which is already at his heaviest in a 15-year career, is expected to gain weight further, perhaps breaching the 150-lb barrier for the first time. Though some people would have a doubt that the increase of his weight will make him a slower fighter, Pacquiao just neglected it and remained focus as he came to the final day of his 7-week training camp.
