THE NEW 100 DOLLAR BILL: Know its features, know its real
APRIL 20, 2010 – Earlier today, Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner unveiled a new 100 dollar bill. The new 100 dollar bill, which is introduced at the Treasury Department in Washington, includes a “3D Security Ribbon” and a color-changing inkwell . It’s considered as high tech makeover for the $100 bill. Benjamin Franklin is still on the C-note but you will notice a disappearing Liberty Bell which is added in an inkwell and a bright blue security ribbon composed of thousands of tiny lenses. Once you move the bill, the objects will move in a different direction. The new bill will go into circulation on February 2011.
