VIDEO: As shown in the video, Miss Michigan USA Rima Fakih accepts the crown of this year’s Miss USA pageant. Fakih is the first Arab American and the first Muslim representative of USA in the Miss Universe competition. Born on October 2, 1986, Fakih is believed to have a big chance to grab the Miss Universe crown. Aside from having a beautiful face and body, the judges were impressed on her during the Q&A portion. Fakih is considered as the one of the top three favorites in the Miss USA 2010 pageant and the online voting showed that she is the crowd’s favorite for she got the second highest rating among the 51 contestants.
Miss Maine USA Katie Whittier is the fourth placer while Miss Colorado USA Jessica Hartman got the third place. Miss Virginia USA Samatha Casey is the second runner-up and Miss Oklahoma USA Morgan Woolard is the first runner-up. Miss California USA Nicole Michele Johnson, who is considered as the favorite in the pageant, was able to reach the “TOP 10″ but wasn’t able to reach the final five.
