Do you still remember the White House gate-crashers – Michaele and Tareq Salahi? The Virginia couple, who joined the White House state dinner held for visiting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and also President Barack Obama’s first state dinner without a formal invitation on November 24, 2009, will be part of the new series of the Bravo cable channel’s reality TV franchise “Real Housewives of DC.”
According to Max Markson, their media representative, Michaele and Tareq confirmed that they have landed roles in the said reality TV Show. The Daily Beast reported earlier that their sources said that Bravo decided to go ahead with the show premiering in July 2010. Bravo did not disclose other details until an air date is announced.
The “Real Housewives Of DC” is expected to grab viewer’s attention most especially that this couple caused an embarrassing security flap at the White House. A lot of people will be interested as to what happened to them after the state dinner and their real-life story.
