Mayweather-vs-Mosley-live-stream-free-onlineFloyd Mayweather Jr., who is undefeated with 40 wins including 25 by knockout, will face the WBA Welterweight Super Champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley. It is a WBA championship fight (non-WBA fight) because Mayweather refused to pay the sanctioning fee required by WBA.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer confirmed that the big match between Mayweather and Mosley is not a title fight. If Mosley wins, the victory would count as an official title defense and even if Mayweather wins, the sanctioning may decide to keep Mosley the WBA champion.

After beating the pride of Mexico, Juan Manuel Marquez, last year, Mayweather’s second opponent, Mosley, will definitely a big challenge for him. It is considered as the toughest fight of his career. Even though Mayweather is the no. 2 pound for pound boxer in the world by Ring Magazine, Mosley should not be underestimated. Mosley is actually looking for his third straight win. He has beaten Ricardo Mayorga on September 27, 2008 and Antonio Margarito on January 24, 2010. He knocked out Mayorga with one second left (2:59) in the 12th round. On his fight against Margarito, he landed series of heavy overhand rights at the end of the eighth round. Margarito was not able to respond on his punches on the 9th round which forced the referee to stop the fight.

The Mayweather-Mosley fight should have happened 10 years ago. According to Mayweather, Mosley had too many alibis everytime he was asked to fight him. In 2006, a year before Mayweather decided to retire, Mosley again turned down the fight. According to Mayweather, Mosley wanted to have a vacation trip with his family at that time. Tonight, Mayweather or Mosley have to face each other. There’s no reason to prevent this fight from happening. Tonight, we will be able to see who is better than the other one. It’s Mayweather vs Mosley live at 10:30 PM ET.
