- The pride of Mexico, Daniel Ponce de Leon, won via unanimous decision in the WBC Latino featherweight title bout against Cornelius Lock. Jerry Roth scored the bout 96-94, Paul Smith scored 97-93, and Richard Ocasio scored 96-94, all in favor of de Leon.
Welterweight Bout: Said Ouali defeated Hector David Saldivia
- Ouali of Morocco defeated Saldivia of Argentina. Although Saldivia was able to get a score from a knockdown he made, he was unable to stand after receiving a solid right hook from Ouali. Ouali knocked him out twice in the first round. The referee stopped the fight at 1:47 in the first round.,
Super Featherweight Bout: Eloy Perez defeated Gilberto Sanchez Leon
- The 23-year old boxer from Salinas, California, Eloy “The Prince” Perez defeated the 29-year old Mexican, Gilberto Sanchez Leon via MD for the WBO NABO super featherweight title. Richard Houck scored the bout 95-95, Patricia Morse Jarman scored 93-97, and C.J. Ross 94-96.
Super Welterweight Bout: Saul Alvarez defeated Jose Miguel Cotto via TKO.
- Alvarez backs Cotto into the ropes where he landed a series of right hands. Cotto still standing taking every blows given by Alvarez. He seemed stunned after Alvarez landed a nasty right hook at 2:50. The referee stopped the fight at 2:59 of round no. 9.
Light Welterweight Bout: Jesse Vargas defeated Arturo Morua
- Jesse Vargas, the 20 year-old boxer from Las Vegas, Nevada has beaten the 31 year-old Mexican Arturo Morua via TKO at 1:20 in Round 6.
Lightweight Bout: Allen Litzau vs Luis Ramos Jr.
