Manchester United moves down to the third spot and lose the chance to be on top after being defeated by Chelsea this afternoon at the Stamford Bridge. After the bitter lose against Liverpool last October 25, Red Devils have managed to get back on track and on October 31, they left Blackburn Rovers scoreless. It was thought that they have learned something from Liverpool but it seems that they still missing something.
According to Sir Alex Ferguson they lose not because of their team performance but because of referee Martin Atkinson’s bad decision. It was the same thing that happened in their game with Liverpool and this time with Chelsea, he is pointing again the referees for losing the game. Manchester United slipped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea and he said that they should have won if the referees didn’t count the goal of John Terry at 76 minutes in the game.
He said that Atkinson’s decision was ridiculous. He knows that his team is far better and dominates the whole game but because of that decision, he can’t help but to blame the referee.
It was a bad start this month for the Red Devils. They have to take in mind that if they were in an outside stadium, they need to score and need not to wait for the referee to create a bad decision.
