Bad weather and heavy rain causes Louisville flooding and paralyzes almost the entire city. Louisville flooding with heavy rain fall causes flooded in subdivisions, homes and public offices. Most of the streets are now impassable because this flood covers the entire street.

It was reported that LG&E company currently has 20,000 customers out and already has 700 power lines down but the lightning that strikes the Can Run Station didn’t cause any power supply issues. The officials on the area are arresting motorists who ignored the barricades and the officials and still force to drive on flooded streets.

University of Louisville is the most damaged area and they were forced to cancel the class in all levels. Right now the main branch of Louisville public library was also affected by this downpour. Lots of valuable things like computer, vehicles, and books.

Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear travelled to Louisville to give support to the people affected by this flash flood. Lousiville needs volunteers and if you want to join and help just call 852-6153. Your help will be much appreciated.
