Dreamworks presents “HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON”

From the creators of “Shrek” and “Kung Fu Panda,” now comes a movie set in a mythical world of dragons and Vikings. The movie is based on 2003 children’s novel of the same title by British author Cressida Cowell. It is directed by Christopher Sanders and Dean DeBlois.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON SYNOPSIS
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the heir of the Viking chiefdom on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. His father, Stoick the Vast, leads the Vikings on their quest of finding the nest of dragons.
Hiccup wants to prove to his father that he can fight dragons. He wants to be a great Viking someday. His father knows that his son is not a strong boy for Hiccup can’t even lift a hammer and can’t swing an ax. Until one day, he have captured the Night Fury, the fiercest breed among the dragons. He hold his knife with his two hands while the Night Fury look at him. He look at his eyes and felt sorry for what he did. He untied the rope.
Hiccup visits the place where the Night Fury is. And he notice that the dragon is missing half his tail that’s why he can’t fly and can’t even get food. (The night before he found the dragon, while he was wielding a catapult slingshot, without knowing, he ham-handedly slices off half a dragon’s tail.)
The next day, he go back to the same place and feed the dragon with a fish, which he names Toothless. Hiccup nurses the wounded dragon, build him an artificial tail, and help him soar to the sky. He earns the dragon’s trust and at the same time he learn something from the dragon. He apply all the things that he learned from Toothless on the “Dragon training.”
Gobber, seasoned warrior appointed to drill the new recruits, with Hiccup’s friends Astrid Hofferson, Fishlegs Ingerman, Snotlout Jorgenson, Tuffnut and Ruffnut Thorston are all amaze about the way he tames the dragons.
Astrid, the toughest Viking kid, become suspicious and she later found out about Hiccup’s pet dragon. Toothless shows Astrid that dragons like him is not a threat to Vikings. Astrid agreed to keep Hiccup’s secret.
The news about Hiccup’s dragon skills spread in the village. Stoic with other great Vikings in their village arrived. He is amaze with his son and can’t believe that Hiccup is so famous in the village.
The final day of “Dragon Training” came. Hiccup has to kill the dragon to prove that he is ready to be a great Viking. At the time he was trying to tame the dragon, his father interrupted and the dragon become wild. He lose his focus and the dragon attacks him but Toothless came to rescue him. His father and other Vikings trapped Toothless.
Stoic is so angry and later found out about the dragon’s nest. Hiccup teaches his friends how to tame the dragon. They go to the dragon’s nest with their chosen dragons.
Stoic and the Vikings arrived at the dragon’s nest with Toothless. They found the largest living dragon hiding inside the cave. They don’t know how to defeat the dragon not until Hiccup and other Viking kids arrived. Stoic realizes that importance of Toothless. Hiccup and Toothless defeated the dragon but loses his left leg. Hiccup woke up with Toothless beside him.
