It is said that other fake pharmaceutical websites earns $100,000 a day. These criminal gangs make millions of dollars online by selling fake H1N1 drugs called Tamiflu.

Tamiflu is an antiviral medicine for flu treatment and flu prevention which was marketed by Switzerland’s Roche Holding. But fake Tamiflu and other medicines were being sold online and it is said that major buyers of this fake drug come from UK, US, and Canada. Most people panic in this pandemic H1N1 flu virus so they were tempted to buy drugs online without knowing that they are putting not only their health at risk but also their personal information and credit card details.

As what the spokesman of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, David Pruce, said during an interview with BBC News reporter, last July 3, 2009, that the drug, used in suspected cases of swine flu, has now overtaken Viagra as the subject of the most junk e-mails. Antiflu drug offered on internet are often fake, and instead of getting the real drug one might received a rat poison drug.
