Finland and Czech Republic will meet for the first time at the Canada Hockey Place in Game 25 of 2010 Vancouver Olympics Men’s Hockey. The game is scheduled to start at 7:34 PST. This is a very impportant game because the winner will face United States in the semifinal round.
Although Finland seats on the 2nd spot in Group C, the team had a very bad performance on Sunday night, Feb. 21. They were defeated by Sweden, 3-0 for the final score.
Czech Republic seats on the second place in Group B. The team won yesterday against Latvia (Czech Republic vs Latvia – Game 21). Tomas Rolinek, Tomas, Fleischmann, and David Krejci worked together to bring their team in the quarterfinal round. Mikelis Redlihs of Latvia sends game to overtime with less than 4 minutes left in the third period. Krejci scored in the overtime sending his team to the quarterfinal round.
