Tostitos Fiesta Bowl will be seen on FOX network. It’s going to be Boise State vs TCU live at Cardinals Stadium , Glendale, Arizona at 8:00 PM ET.
It is the first time that two unbeaten teams will play in a BCS bowl other than national championship game. The Fiesta Bowl would be a national semifinal game. The winner of Fiesta Bowl (TCU-Boise State) plays the winner of BCS National Championship Game (Alabama-Texas) for the national title.
Even though the fourth-ranked TCU would love to play the Fiesta Bowl with full force, the team’s cornerback Rafael Priest will not play on Monday night. This was the announcement of Coach Gary Patterson on Saturday. Coach Patterson said that Priest suffered a sprained left foot a week and a half ago while they were practicing at in Forth Worth. His foot is no longer swelling but he has not practiced since then so he would better leave it to the rest of his team. Sophomore Greg McCoy will be his substitute.
The sixth-ranked Boise State completed their second straight unbeaten regular season after defeating New Mexico State on December 5, 2009 at 7-42. Boise State coach Chris Petersen team are well prepared for the BCS.
