Singer and 1970’s teen idol, Donny Osmond, and his partner Kym Johnson won season nine of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” (DWTS). Donny admitted that his entire body hurts after weeks of rehearsals but it is worth it now that he got the trophy. He is now considered as the the oldest winner of television’s ballroom dancing contest.
Over 19.2 million viewers watched the ninth season finale of “Dancing With The Stars.” Mya and Dmitry Chaplin is the runner up while the third placer goes to Kelly Osbourne and her partner Louis van Amstel.
If your looking for a way to effectively lose weight, well you try ballroom dancing. Donny confessed that because of the show, he lost 20 lbs. You’ll lose weight and you’ll have fun.
If Donny had the biggest smile that night, his professional dancer partner Kym shines all the way to Broadway. She will have her Broadway debut this Friday in the sizzling Latin and Ballroom dance show – “Burn the Floor,” which will be held at the Longacre Theatre, produce by Harley Medcalf. She will be partnered with the Ukrainian Latin Ballroom dance champion and the so called bad boy of the ballroom, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, her fellow pro dancer.
