PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN – After the devastating twin bomb which hit Baghdad last Sunday, another bombing incident happened and this time in Meena Bazaar,a market located in Peshawar in northwest Pakistan. The said car was packed with 300 pounds of explosives that kills more than 90 people, mostly women, and at least 200 were injured in this attack. It was the deadliest and third bombing in the city this month, which happened after the remote controlled car bomb that explodes outside the famous “Swan’ restaurant last Friday.

Just hours after US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in the country when the said bombing occurred. Clinton visited the country to support the Islamabad’s campaign against Islamic militants.
“I want you to know that this fight is not Pakistan’s alone”

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, supports the U.S. campaign against the militants which continuously kills innocent people in the city.
“We will not buckle. We will fight you. We will fight you because we want peace and stability in Pakistan.”

He said that militants’ violence and continuous attacks will not stopped them from fighting back but according to reports if the government and U.S. army do not end its ground offensive in the South Waziristan tribal region, the Taliban have warned and threatened them they would stand for more attacks.
