Yes, like millions and millions of others, we invited you all in our living rooms to visit with us each week. I must say that I heard this old saying years ago. 2 Men approach Heaven, and the first one walked up to St. Peter, and he said “Well Sir, I treated my body like a temple, never smoked, drank, did drugs or womanized or cheated on my wife”. The other guy was sweaty, out of breath wearing a ripped tee shirt scraggly beard, hair all a muss and attepting to try to catch his breath and he looked at Saint Peter and said “WOW! WHADDA RIDE! Can I do it again, can I? Huh? Huh? I’m ready to do that a whole bunch more!” Now each and every one of you as you read this will get the grins on our faces but soon your computer will go fuzzy. That is okay, go excuse yourself, wipe your eyes and say, Yeah, THAT was our Phil Harris. He was only a year older than me. I’m nifty fifty plus two more.

God bless every one and Angel hugs to surround every one…by the shipping boats full!. One last question….does anyone feel like Phil has all ready made a bunch of brid feeders in Heaven? I asked my Dad and my Dad-in law, please take Phil to Long Island, and teach him how to catch crabs with a simple flashlight and a net at midnight! Then Phil can teach them how to be Pacific coastal crabbers! I miss that kind of fishing, moved out of NY about 10 years ago. Miss all the memories.

Oh how very sorry I am for the loss of “Captain Phil.” Like thousands of viewers; I know how we have gotten to know him through the show and from the tributes paid to a wonderful man.
I honestly, with all of my heart want to let you, his family & friends know how very sorry I am for your loss!
I believe when he talked to his sons, brother and friends & said his peace that Lord knew it was Phil’s time to go to sleep & wake up with God!
My prayers are with you all!

I named my puppy cornelia marie because i so love the show & i so love the cornelia marie,the guys & capt.phil. My puppy is 2 yrs. Old now & im happy to have named her in remembrance of my deadliest catch favorite boat

I know that when my Dad passed it was very hard – but always remeber the good times. Your Dad was a very special man and we know he will always be very proud of his two sons.

Jake and Josh,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I watch the show and feel like I have a family connection to all of you. I feel like I watch to make sure that everyone is always safe. To hear about your father has caused me to lose sleep. Lost my dad 3 years ago, cant stop thinking of him and cant stop thinking of Captin Phill. May God bless I hope you both know your father loves you dearly, and will always be proud of you no matter what road you decide to take.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jake and Josh, the rest of Phil’s family, and all of Phil’s fishing and Discovery family. We all know God is letting Phil be the Big Crab Fisherman in Heaven. Like many other “Deadliest Catch” fans have said, we will miss watching Phil in the wheelhouse. Phil was definitely one of the good guys and one of the favorites on “Deadliest Catch” and even though many of us only know him through TV, we feel we had made a friend. Phil and Each of you on “Deadliest Catch” that work the Bering Sea have made the rest of us realize how easy our jobs really are. We have a whole new appreciation whenever we buy and eat crab and other Alaskan seafood. All of you are like family to us. To put the good and bad of your lives under the microscope to let the rest of the world watch says what great courage, determination, and a passion each of you have. Phil was an inspiration to all. Jake and Josh, Phil taught you well and he will be an Angel on your shoulders, and you both will make him proud. God Bless All of you.

I just recently found out your dad passed away, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I always loved watching your dad on the deadlest catch he was a great guy! I will miss watching him every week he was my favorite guy on the show . may God watch over you boys when your at sea… because i know deep in my heart your dad will be watching over you also..

Jake & Josh. I am very sorry to here about Phil, he is the model Captain of “The Dealiest Catch”, which I have been watching from the 1st season. I was alway a big fan, and will continue to be, of the Cornelia Marie. Your dad will live on, RIP.
