Penn State Nittany Lions vs LSU Tigers match is scheduled today, January 1, 2010. It will be held in Orlando, Florida and will start at 1:00 PM EST only on ABC network.
Although LSU had a very tough game on November 28, they had surpassed the game winning 33-30 against Arkansas. Placekicker Josh Jasper extended the game by putting the team in overtime period. They almost lost it but they drove 41 yards to set up Jasper with 4 seconds left in the game. Jasper made a 36-yarder in OT that made them win the match.
The 13-ranked LSU will face the 11-ranked Nittany Lions in Capital One Bowl. The teams met once in the 1974 Orange Bowl.
