US Olympic Hockey Team is still on the lead, 3-5, in the third period of their match against Canada Hockey Team at the Canada Hockey Place.
Alternate captain of the US Olympic Team Brian Rafalski, who plays defense for the Detroit Red Wings, was a scoring machine during their match against Canada Olympic Hockey Team. Rafalski gave first two goals, one at 41 seconds and 9:15 both in the first period. Chris Drury was able to score, 3-2, at 16:46 in the second period.
Eric Staal, the team captain of Carolina Hurricanes, gave Canada their first goal of the game at 8:53 in the first period followed by Dany Heatley at 3:32 in the second period.
