Canada, the top women’s hockey team in Group A, meets United States, the top team in Group B in the gold medal event at 2010 Winter Olympics. The match between Canada and United States will start at 7:25 EST and will be held at Canada Hockey Place.
Canada’s Olympic Women’s Hockey Team dominated the first period with two goals coming from Marie-Philip Poulin. Poulin, who plays for the Dawson College Blues, first scored at 13 minutes and 55 seconds and made another goal with three minutes and 10 seconds left in the said period.
United States remained scoreless in the game.
