Barack Obama, the new President of the United States of America, have already given his first major public decision as a President after appointing Rahm Emanuel as the White House Chief of Staff last week, November 6, 2008. Rahm Emanuel will begin his job as a White House Chief of Staff on January 20, 2008. He will be replacing Joshua Brewster Bolten, US Chief of Staff under President Bush administration.
Rep. Rahm Emanuel thought for that opportunity and he then decided to accept Obama’s offer. Rep. Emanuel wants to work with Obama’s administration and be part of it which was noted to be a history election or administration in the US.
This is a breaking news to all and since people were relying on Obama’s mission to change the US, people tried to research Rep. Rahm Emanuel’s biography to know if he fits to be US Chief of Staff. Since his father is a Jerusalem-born pediatrician and former member of treated terrorist group during British rule (they call it Zionist), people became curious if President Elect Obama’s decision is good.
Rep. Rahm Israel Emanuel is a 48 year-old American politician who served as political advisor of former President Clinton (1993-1998). Because he is so good in finance and after serving investment banking in 2002, He served in the US House of Representatives in the year 2003. He represents the 5th District of Illinois. He was the Chairman of Democratic Caucus. In the year 2007, he was elected without opposition as Chair and Vice Chair of the said office.
According to israpundit.com, Rep. Emanuel’s mother and father met in the year 1950’s in Chicago. His mother was an activist and owner of Chicago-area rock and roll club. His brothers and sisters have a good life. One of his brother, Ari, is a talent agent in LA and deeply inspired the “Entourage” TV show. Ezekiel, his older brother is bioethicist.
