Base on the website rules and policies, it is only stated that Best Buy reserves the the right to "revoke offers and correct errors BUT it is not stated on there policy/rules and anywhere on there website that they have the right to revoke confirmed orders and all consumers knows that when you got a confirmation that means your order get thru. So its an honest and BIG mistake from best buy itself.
Many consumers make mistake on there purchases also, but what happened if you try to talk to there costumer service to return even less than an hour after you put your order online they will always tell you " NO WE CANNOT REMOVE THAT ORDER, WE CAN BUT YOU WILL BE CHARGE WITH 15% RE STOCKING FEE".
So in these circumstances if its an pricing error then those people whose order got thru must get there purchased product. There are so many laws that protects consumers from fraud, unfair pricing, deceptive advertising, etc. Base alone in Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code 17200 thru 17594 and Cal. Civ. Code 1750 through 1785 CLRA.
Best Buy should know better than just saying "pricing error", So they are saying if something came out to there website one time or next time you see a big sale on ther website you will call first to ask if its true or not? before you put an order? Whats best is all those consumers who got a confirmation order and have print outs of that order have the legal right so why just leave it to the hands of those big company pockets. So things like this won't happen again in the future. Who knows the next time you fall in line for a new gadget/electronic to bestbuy store would be a "price error".
