The BCS Championship between Texas Longhorns vs Alabama Crimson Tide will be held live tonight, January 7, 2010, at 8:00 PM ET. Texas vs Alabama live match will be held at Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
Texas is looking forward for their second BCS championship in 5 years while Alabama is in the championship game for the third season. Alabama head coach Nick Saban told his team that they need to set aside the BCS hype and focus on the game. He said that he wanted his team to understand that their game is not all about the teams or players who will play for the BCS championship but it’s going to be how the team will play.
One player that will surely have a great major role in the BCS is Alabama running back Mark Ingram who won the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner and the first-ever win for the Crimson Tide.

- ESPN Lisa Salters reported that Colt McCoy will not play with ’till the end of the first half and he is still being reevaluated whether he can still play in the second half. He was hit square by lineman Marcell Dareus. he seems alright at that moment but then later on, a time out was called.
- Freshman running back of Alabama Crimson Tide, Trent Richardson, rushed for 49 yards with 7:59 left in the second quarter.
- Starting quarterback of Texas Longhorns, Daniel “Colt” McCoy, is badly hurt. He’s currently in the X-Ray room and his right shoulder is currently being examined by the doctors. It is not yet confirmed whether he can be able to play in the next quarters or will stay on the bench ’till the game ends.
- Josh Groban sang the Star Spangled Banner in tonight’s BCS Championship game between Texas and Alabama.
