A former coach of the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team, John Geddert, was under investigation, a sheriff in MI said on Tuesday, coming on the heels of a sexual abuse scandal surrounding a team doctor with whom the coach had worked.

Nassar, formerly of Holt, Mich., was sentenced in December to 60 years in prison on three federal child pornography charges.

Nassar, 54, will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Raisman revealed this past November that Nassar had sexually assaulted her under the guise of medical treatment. More than 150 girls and women recounted their stories of abuse in court. It sent letters to the U.S. Olympic Committee, USA Gymnastics, Michigan State University, the Twistars gymnastics club in Michigan and the Korolyi Ranch. International Olympic Committee chief Thomas Bach said the organization was "deeply shocked and saddened" by the crimes and that it would defer to an independent investigation determining if Nassar's abuse ever occurred at the Olympics.

Raisman said she and teammates discussed the abuse they suffered at the hands of Nassar in front of Geddert.

Donald Trump orders giant military parade for himself
Donald Trump has asked USA defence officials to investigate the possibility of holding a large military parade in Washington DC. Dunford Jr., Trump's seemingly abstract desire for a parade was suddenly heard as a presidential directive, the officials said.

Here is what Raisman had to say about the matter in an interview with CNN.

"We would talk about it amongst ourselves", Raisman told CNN.

Raisman told CNN's Jake Tapper that one of her teammates explicitly explained how Nassar had abused her while they were in the auto with Geddert, but Geddert was silent about it. "And John Geddert was in the auto with us and he just didn't say anything", Ms Raisman told CNN.

Interim president John Engler requested that Michigan State's provost revoke the tenure of former medical school dean William Strampel, which is the first step to firing him. After that he would theoretically be transferred to the Michigan Department of Corrections to serve sentences on the state crimes, but he would need to make it to over 100 years old for that to happen.
