RB Leipzig Naby Keita January release fee demand uncovered

RB Leipzig have ended speculation over the future of midfielder Naby Keita by confirming the Liverpool-bound player will remain in Germany until the end of the season.

There have been strong rumours that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to bring in Keita six months earlier than expected as he looks to offset the loss of Philippe Coutinho.

If Keita moved to Anfield this month he wouldn't be eligible to play in the Champions League knockout stages but would provide a boost to Liverpool's hopes of domestic success.

Indeed, there had been whispers that Saturday's clash with Schalke - a match that Keita actually scored in - would be his last before making his move to the Premier League.

Liverpool have yet to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig for the early transfer of Naby Keita. "We wish to put the speculation about a January move to LFC to bed".

Browns add Packers execs Wolf, Highsmith to front office
He has been with the Packers since 2004, when he joined the team as a pro personnel assistant under then coach/GM Mike Sherman. Owner Jimmy Haslam will surely be hoping Dorsey and Wolf can lead the Browns back to respectability with haste.

"We will not let Naby Keita leave early, even though Liverpool have again expressed their interest in signing him up in this transfer window".

Leipzig coach Oliver Mintzlaff said, "There are contracts that say that his job starts in Liverpool on July 1".

The Reds struck a deal for the Guinean midfielder last summer, with the deal stating that Keita would arrive at Anfield in the summer of 2018.

"As everyone knows, we are not a selling club", Ragnick stressed. "A sale [in January] would have only been possible if we had secured an additional, exorbitantly high transfer fee".
