Tupac's Murder Weapon Was Found & Is Now Missing

According to a police document obtained by producers of A&E's docu-series "Who Killed Tupac?", the gun, which was described as "a 40 caliber Glock", was found by a citizen in a backyard in Compton two years after the murder.

The mysterious death of rapper Tupac Shakur has been shrouded in mystery for decades. However, now there's some more info to add to the conversation - and it's juicy stuff, because it suggests there was a police cover-up in the investigation.

Producers from America's A&E network, which is airing the documentary, contacted LVPD officials who confirmed they never received the weapon - and its whereabouts are unknown.

The documentary then shows that in 2006, Deputy T. Brennan discovered that the address where the handgun had been found matched that of a girlfriend of a prominent Crip member.

There has been much speculation over whether Pac really died after being gunned down in Las Vegas on 7 September 1996, aged 25. The gun wasn't given to police in Las Vegas because, according to the New York Daily News, "a federal prosecutor assigned to the case cited concerns the discovery might cause problems with potential conspirators".

Numerous people - including fellow rapper Notorious BIG - were implicated in his death.

Finest meteor bathe of the 12 months begins Wednesday evening
There are plenty of other attractive things to see in the December night sky, Dr Musgrave said. The meteors tend to peak around 2 a.m. local time, but can be seen as early as 9 to 10 p.m.

But the identity of Tupac's killer has remained a mystery - because the cops didn't care to look any further, the documentary claimed.

But Biggie, who was himself gunned down in a drive-by shooting the following year, denied shooting Tupac, and claimed he was recording tracks when the hit took place - though those claims have been questioned since.

One possible suspect, identified in 2002 by an LA Times investigation, was Orlando Anderson, a member of the Southside Crips gang.

Tupac's murder has been one of the most talked about cold cases in modern American culture - but it seems like everyone is doing their part but the actual LAPD and LVPD.

But of course, other rumors persisted - including Knight's claim that the hit may have been intended for him in a Death Row Records coup. This is America. We found Bin Laden'.

The final episode of "Who Killed Tupac?" is to air in the U.S. on Tuesday.
