Cheeseburger emoji: Where does the cheese go?

While it is unclear if Google will change its cheeseburger emoji, it appears Pichai is at least taking the issue to heart.

Who puts cheese on the bottom of a burger?

"A cheeseburger emoji, otherwise known as a burger".

"We need to have a discussion about how Google's burger emoji is placing the cheese underneath the burger, while Apple puts it on top", author Thomas Baekdal said in a tweet with pictures of Google's and Apple's burger emojis.

Sundar Pichai took to Twitter to address concerns about one of his company's stock emojis, as people were anxious about the difference between the Apple burger emoji and the Google burger emoji.

Condé Nast International publishes editions of magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ and Glamour . However, the photographer has been accused of inappropriate behavior on set by models in the past.

After Pichai tweeted, one user wrote, "If Sundar says they'll do it, consider it bun". Sometimes it comes down to the little details, and most recently someone pointed out that Google's cheeseburger emoji wasn't quite right... On the other hand, Google's cheese slice would dissolve into a sticky puddle on the bun, making it soggy and hard to eat. Does the cheese always go on top of the patty, to make sure it gets a nice melt?

That being said, according to Emojipedia.org, most of the companies with emojis get this order wrong.

The hamburger emoji is as wrong, as it turns out, as Google's beer emoji, which somehow shows a large gap between the top of the liquid and its frothing head.

Since then it has been up to each tech giant - Apple, Microsoft, Google, Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook - to decide how they want to display the icon.

Thankfully, at the very highest levels, Google has resolved to fix this outrageous injustice at the earliest convenience.
