Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx's first picture together also included Tom Cruise

In contrast to the secrecy of years gone by, they held hands and wore matching hats as they strolled along the oceanside.

According to the photos of the couple, walking hand in hand on a romantic beach in Malibu, California, Jamie Foxx makes Katie Holmes happy, and this for four years now. They have eschewed rumours that they were an item in the past and Holmes never commented on the reports while Foxx often dismissed it as "fake news", insisting that they were "just friends". So, Holmes has passed that reported five-year mark, and she can publicly date whoever she wants.

If this five-year dating ban is true, then it would have ended June 2017, making it the ideal time to go public.

This comes just two weeks after Jamie was seen visiting girlfriend Katie and her daughter, Suri Cruise, before her little girl's first day of school. It can be noted that their romance has been developing and growing privately for years now without even confirmations or words from any of them.

When asked about it by reporters, Katie has always remained coy about speculation of romance between her and Jamie.

Mattis breaks with Trump on diplomacy with North Korea
On a recent trip to the region, he said the military's main goal is supporting USA efforts to denuclearize the Korean peninsula. Ren Guoqiang told reporters that all parties should exercise restraint and avoid words and actions that escalate tension.

One reason cited has been Foxx worked with Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise in the 2004 movie Collateral and the men were thought to be friendly. Last May, Holmes visited Foxx in Paris when he was filming a "Robin Hood" remake movie.

A year after the split, Katie and Jamie were photographed flirting and dancing together at a charity bash in The Hamptons.

The Dawson's Creek alum and the Beat Shazam host have since been spotted together on numerous occasions, including at his birthday party in December 2015 and Barbra Streisand's concert in New York City in August 2016.

TMZ has the picture with the blaring headline "We're Not Hiding Anymore".
