Summer Phoenix files divorce from husband Casey Affleck

Summer Phoenix has filed for divorce from Casey Affleck. The two actors have two children: IN (13 years old) and Atticus (9 years).

In the docs, she lists their date of separation as November 2015 - although they didn't announce the split until March 2016. They got engaged in 2003 and tied the knot three years later.

So, this means that both Casey and Summer are single now. The couple was married 10 years and together for almost 16 prior to the initial split, and they share two children together: sons IN, 12, and Atticus, 9. The media report indicated that in the court papers Summer has asked for joint physical and legal custody of the children.

Affleck, who turns 42 on August 12, is the younger brother of film star Ben Affleck.

Actress Summer Phoenix brought her petition in Los Angeles Superior Court.

As of now, the main reason behind Casey's divorce has not revealed, but the "Good Will Hunting" movie star is already dating actress Floriana Lima since past year.

It shows up the combine were not ready to work things out and Phoenix refered to "beyond reconciliation contrasts" in her separation recording.
