New tropical storm on the horizon

NOAA's National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida issued a Tropical Weather Outlook at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, due the presence of a low pressure system that could become Tropical Storm Don and impact the US east coast.

It was far too early to know if the potential system would affect Florida at all. June 2017 will go down on the record books as the third wettest with 15.48 inches of rain for the month. This simply means that the National Hurricane Center is investing more time and resources tracking it.

The area being monitored, a low-pressure system that's producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms, was about 650 miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. The storm hasn't changed much in recent hours, but environmental conditions are favorable for a tropical depression or tropical storm to form in the Atlantic Ocean.

Disneyland makes big change to 'Pirates of the Caribbean' ride
The new scenes at the domestic Disney Parks are expected to debut sometime in 2018, but no exact date has been given. I can't think of a single attraction that has not been enhanced and improved, some over and over again.

Should the disturbance develop into a tropical storm, it will take on the name of "Don".

While there is only a 10% chance of tropical development within the next 48 hours, there is a 50% chance that this could be classified a Tropical Depression or tropical Storm within the next five days.
