Uzbek president takes part in Arab Islamic American Summit

During Trump's speech in Saudi Arabia, he accused Iran of funding terrorism. "To be president of this country, you need tremendous stamina", Trump said during the first presidential debate.

THEN: Trump had plenty of harsh words for Saudi Arabia before his election. Bahrain is home to the USA fleet in the Middle East.

Trump was in Saudi Arabia on the first leg of his first foreign tour, which also includes stops in Israel, the Vatican, Belgium and Italy over the coming days.

Trump used his visit to Riyadh to bolster USA ties with Arab and Islamic nations, announce $US110 billion ($A148 billion) in United States arms sales to Saudi Arabia.

The result was a speech clearly directed at two audiences - leaders from 50 Muslim countries assembled in Riyadh for the summit, and Americans back home.

US President Donald Trump says he came away from a weekend visit to Saudi Arabia with new reasons for hope that peace and stability can be achieved in the Middle East. In an August 2016 speech, for example, Trump said Obama's 2009 speech to the Muslim World in Egypt lacked "moral courage" and was replete in naiveté.

Dana White blasts boxing legend over Mayweather-McGregor stance
If he had the last fighter on Earth and I had the last fighter on Earth, I wouldn't do a deal with that guy. McGregor also confirmed he had signed a "record breaking deal" to allow him to make the move to boxing.

"The efforts will be an effective partnership between the Islamic world and the West in general to combat terrorism".

"There is a growing realization among your Arab neighbours that they have common cause with you in the threat posed by Iran", he said, at a welcome meeting with President Rueven Rivlin. "We will have truly drowned the voices of extremism and we will have drained the swamps from which extremism and terrorism emanates".

But in addition to those strategies, Trump also emphasized the collective use of hard power.

A senior Iranian military official said Tuesday that the recent U.S. -Saudi Arabia arms deal will jeopardize regional security, Tasnim news agency reported. The TFTC now consists of Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and of course, the US and Saudi Arabia.

In the 1980s, Israel expressed its concern at a USA sale to Saudi Arabia of then-advanced F-15 fighter jets that were stationed at a Red Sea airfield. The official briefed on Sunday's meeting said the package includes building permits for Palestinians in Area C that has largely been off limits to Palestinian development until now.
