The singer and some of her famous friends held a benefit concert in the English city to benefit the victims of a terrorist attack that took place following her performance there almost two weeks ago.

U.S. pop star Ariana Grande has been photographed hugging youngsters at a Manchester children's hospital who were injured in deadly terror attack on her concert.

Earlier in the night Coldplay joined Grande on stage to sing Oasis's hit Don't Look Back In Anger, which has been an anthem for Manchester since the tragedy.

Grande and some of her famous friends held a benefit concert in Manchester, England Sunday to benefit the victims of a terrorist attack that took place following her performance there almost two weeks ago.

She was at the gig attacked by a suicide bomber on 22 May, killing 22 people and injuring many more.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, set up by Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross, to support grieving families and victims of the bombing.

The One Love Manchester show definitely brought people from all over the world together, and will be a concert that will be remembered for many years to come.

"Despite all the things that have been going on.I don't feel or smell or hear or see any fear in this building", Pharrell Williams said while singing a duet of "Happy" with Miley Cyrus. "I love you so so much", Ari told the crowd. But perhaps the most special moment - or at least the moment that's making Twitter emotional is when a Manchester police offer started dancing in a circle with a group of kids attending the concert.

Preparations are underway for the tribute concert to the victims of the Manchester bombing. "I love you guys so much and I think that the kind of love and unity you're displaying is the kind of medicine that the world really needs right now".

While a fourth lamented: "Can't believe Will.I.Am walked on stage and said hi London how could he get that one wrong". "When you look into the audience at my shows, you see a attractive, diverse, pure, happy crowd". He said: "Today's One Love Manchester benefit concert will not only continue, but will do so with greater goal".

Speaking before the show, Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham said the city would stand together.

She continued: "I've always loved Manchester and not just tonight, it's always felt like a home away from home to me".

The concert went ahead in spite of the terror atrocity on London Bridge last night, when terrorists used a van to mow down pedestrians on the bridge at 50mph.
