Israeli Army Radio: Saudi persuaded Trump to postpone embassy move

Netanyahu then revealed that three days earlier, before US President Donald Trump's visit to the Jewish state, "the US added another $75 million to the aid package for [Israel's] missile defense program".

Trump made headlines as the first sitting US president to visit the famous Western Wall, part of the Temple Mount and one of Judaism's holiest sites.

Two weeks ago, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson explained to NBC that Trump is still evaluating whether the idea of moving the embassy would help or hinder chances for peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Further, the U.S. leader did not bring up the issue of sovereignty over the city of Jerusalem, which both Israel and the Palestinians claim as their capital.

Trump visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City, becoming the first sitting president to do so, though neither the president nor the White House recognized Israeli sovereignty over the site claimed during the Six-Day War in 1967.

The US is demanding that Israel transfer land from Area C, which, according to the Oslo accords is under complete Israeli control, to Area B, where the Palestinian Authority has administrative control while the IDF is in charge of security, Israel's Channel 10 TV reported Wednesday night.

In announcing peace between Israel and the Palestinians as a key priority for his administration, Mr. Trump gestured publicly to his senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who himself has no experience in foreign policy or governance, saying "If you can't make peace in the Middle East, no one can".

Del Potro wins 1st match at French Open since 2012
His best result at the French Open was reaching the semifinals in 2009, just months before he won his Grand Slam title in NY . Svitolina hit a cross-court forehand victor on match point to win the first match Tuesday on Court Suzanne Lenglen.

"The time has come to prove to the Israelis, the Palestinians and the entire world that an important segment of the Israeli population is opposed to occupation and wants a two-state solution", he added.

Speaking in Jerusalem at the Israel Museum Tuesday, Trump issued a warning to Iran, whose leadership has called for the destruction of Israel.

In the same news conference, McMaster also refused to say whether or not the Western Wall is part of Israel. He arrived in Israel from Saudi Arabia carrying a clear message that moderate Sunni Muslim states would be willing to normalize ties with Israel if its conflict with the Palestinians is resolved.

With cooperation, success is possible, and President Trump's trip might be viewed as a watershed event in Middle East history. "Trump really has a place in his heart for Israel".

"I've heard it's one of the toughest deals of all, but I have a feeling that we're going to get there eventually, I hope", said Trump in comments before a dinner at Netanyahu's residence on Monday.
