I'd love to see Ronaldo go to Man United

Barcelona footballer Lionel Messi was given a 21-month sentence past year, which he is unlikely to serve, for having defrauded the national purse of 4.1 million euros of undeclared image rights earnings.

It is far-fetched to believe that Ronaldo will not be playing in a Madrid shirt next season especially having signed a new bumper deal not too long ago.

In doing so, he shielded 636,000 euros from the Spanish taxman in 2012 and 662,000 in 2013, Spanish authorities said.

However, according to English newspaper Daily Express, Chelsea are the latest club to enter the race to sign the 32-year-old, with club owner Roman Abramovich willing to go to any extent to secure arguably one of the best players in the world.

It is understood that Di Maria agreed to a deal with Spain's state prosecutor on Wednesday in which the former Real Madrid forward admitted to two counts of tax fraud of nearly 1.3 million euros ($1.4 million) in exchange for a lighter sentence.

Under Spanish law, a tax prison sentence under two years can be served under probation, meaning Messi and his father are very unlikely to actually serve time in jail.

Ronaldo was unusually cheered by the Moscow crowd whenever he broke forward, but as the game's early stages developed, it became apparent that the crowd's encouragement of the Real Madrid winger was redundant.

Names of jurors in Bill Cosby case are released
On those two charges, the juror alleged, the two holdouts who believed Cosby was not guilty were "not moving, no matter what". In a statement read aloud after mistrial was announced, Cosby's wife of several decades, Camille Cosby, thanked the jurors.

Mourinho is accused of using a corporate structure to hide image rights earnings from the taxman in 2011 and 2012.

Ever since Ronaldo's tax issue came up, a number of top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and his former club Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for him.

They claim that Mourinho, who took over at United previous year, failed to declare 3.3 million euros ($3.7m, £2.9m) during his time in the Spanish capital - 1.6 million euros in 2011 and 1.7 million euros in 2012.

The United boss, valued at £61m by the Sunday Times Rich List last month, faces allegations of not paying taxes on image rights during his time as Real Madrid coach, with a lawsuit filed against him by the Public Prosecutor's office in the capital.

In Spain, sentences less than two years are normally suspended unless the individual has a prior conviction.

In 2016, Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano received a one-year suspended prison sentence for tax fraud while Barca superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar are both now awaiting court decisions.
