Cowboys' Elliott was in vehicle crash, sits out OTA

The Cowboys learned about the accident Monday morning.

Elliot was coming back from a charity event on Sunday when the vehicle was hit and he then bumped his head.

Elliott had also been involved in a auto accident in January, before the Cowboys hosted the Green Bay Packers in a playoff game, but he was unharmed in that incident. Again, no serious injury concerns, but he will is being evaluated for a concussion and possible whiplash.

The team learned about the incident on Monday, Garrett said. But team officials opted to keep him out of this week's OTAs.

Elliot will not practice Thursday.

"He's fine", running backs coach Gary Brown said.

Elliott however is expected to take part in OTAs next week. "He's good. Everything's good". In the interim, Darren McFadden, Alfred Morris and Jahad Thomas will handle the RB reps.
