The Kamloops Golf and Country Club is letting kids run wild on the driving range for an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on Sunday. And the event provides a time-honored Easter tradition for those children who may lack the resources to take part otherwise. The free hunt, limited to children in third grade or younger, begins at 10:30 a.m. Games and refreshments follow, from 10:45 a.m. until noon. The egg hunts will be moved inside if it rains. The egg hunt in the park, at 1 p.m., is free. A 3:30 p.m. session will be for children who have sensory issues and prefer a hunt in a quiet, calm environment. The egg hunts begin Friday at 3 p.m., Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for kids 10 and younger, $5 for adults, and free for Friends of Lee-Fendall House; they're available online.

CHRIS OWENS EASTER PARADE: Later on Sunday, at 1 p.m., the Chris Owens French Quarter Parade features floats and iconic local entertainer Chris Owens. The Legion had some outside help, when First State Bank offered to fill 450 eggs for the hunt.

Set up for the Easter Egg Hunt will start around 8:00 A.M. on, 2017 and tear down will start following the hunt at noon. Egg hunt kicks off at 11 a.m. sharp.
