.

Previously only released in Japan for the Famicom, Shadows of Valentia re imagines this classic Fire Emblem game with modern graphics, cinematics and a free-roaming 3D dungeon environment. Fire Emblem Warriors will bring the series into the action genre on Switch and 3DS, and a Switch-exclusive traditional Fire Emblem game is also releasing in 2018.

Alm and Celica Amiibos, when used, will unlock their own dungeons, but players will be able to use them also in the game's battles.

The Fire Emblem Echoes limited edition will give you a reason to keep your 3DS out of storage. This summons an AI-controlled companion-an "illusory hero"- who fights as your ally for one turn.

Nintendo has announced the official Limited Edition of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, which includes the game itself, a hardcover Valentia Artbook, sound selection CD, pin set depicting characters Alm, Celica, and Marth, and a reversible cover sheet reminiscent of the Famicom version.

As Alm and Celica get stronger, their stats can be saved to their respective amiibo, allowing their summoned unit to grow in strength alongside them.

"In addition, all Fire Emblem amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series can be used to summon an illusory hero of that character, allowing players to seek assistance from spectral visages of Marth, Ike, Roy, Robin, Lucina and the upcoming Corrin amiibo".

Shadows of Valentia will be getting a massive limited edition release according to Nintendo.
