It’s day 10 of 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. As of February 20, United States still on the lead with a total of 23 medals. U.S Team got the most number of gold, silver, and bronze medals. They got 10 bronze medals and the 6 golds were from Evan Lysacek who won men’s figure skating, Shaun White who won men’s snowboard halfpipe, Shani Davis who won men’s 1000m speed skating, Lindsey Vonn who won ladies’ alpine downhill, Seth Wescott who won men’s snowboard cross, and Hannah Kearney who won ladies’ moguls. Seven silver medals were from Apolo Anton Ohno (men’s 1500m short track speed skating), Julia Mancuso (ladies alpine downhill and ladies super combined alpine skiing), Johnny Spillane (Nordic Combined), Hannah Teter (ladies halfpipe), Bode Miller (men’s super-G alpine skiing), and another medal for Davis for men’s 1500m speed skating.
Germany is currently on the second place with 14 medals – 4 golds, 6 silvers, and 4 bronzes. Norway is now on the third place with 11 medals – 5 golds, 3 silvers, and 3 bronzes. South Korea is on the 4th rank with 9 medals – 4 golds, 4 silvers, and 1 bronze. And the host country, Canada, is just one medal behind South Korea – 4 golds, 3 silvers, and 1 bronze.
